Unit 2

 Planning

Planning is a fundamental tool in the educational process because it helps organize objectives, content, activities, and assessment methods to promote effective student learning. Through planning, I was able to structure each lesson clearly, considering different stages that promoted students' participation and learning.

StageDescription
Warm UpActivate prior knowledge, encourage student participation, and generate interest in the topic.
PresentationIntroduce new content, explain vocabulary or grammar structures, and use examples to support understanding.
PracticeCarry out guided activities to reinforce learning and clarify doubts.
ProductionApply knowledge independently through meaningful and communicative tasks related to real-life situations.
FeedbackReflect on learning, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and receive feedback on performance.

A didactic lesson plan in English was developed to teach geometric shapes in preschool, aiming to introduce the language from an early age. Through playful activities, it promotes the natural acquisition of vocabulary and cognitive development.

Warm Up: It allowed us to identify each student's learning about the topic of geometric shapes.

Presentation: It allowed the topic to be introduced in an engaging way through songs, images, and visual resources that captured the students’ interest.

Practice: It provided opportunities for students to reinforce their knowledge through games, activities, and tasks focused on identifying geometric shapes.

Production: Students demonstrated what they had learned by creating activities where they applied the vocabulary and concepts covered during the lesson (geometric shapes).

Feedback: It promoted the recognition of achievements and the correction of mistakes, strengthening children’s confidence and participation.
